We’ve done it. We multiplied! Or I should say God has done it. Our church plant which began with one disciplemaking community is now two. This is exciting and God has led us here. It’s actually been a couple of weeks now. But the excitement is still fresh.
The first morning our multiplied DC met I realized,
“Oh, hey they’re meeting and we’re not there!” That felt weird. Weird but really right.
But what if things went wrong? What if they didn’t know what to do? What if they had a crisis of ecclesiology or someone asked a question I wasn’t there to answer?
Hahaha! Last time I looked I wasn’t the Messiah, the Holy Spirit or the heavenly Father. Me, they don’t need. They are disciples following the Spirit’s leading. Doing what church does. They are the Church. And they are good to run with that.
